84 Lumber Partners with Pittsburgh Magazine to Create 2017 Ultimate House

Company donates building materials to initiative benefitting Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh

84 Lumber Partners with Pittsburgh Magazine to Create 2017 Ultimate House

EIGHTY FOUR, Pa. (September 6, 2017) – When a community comes together, great things happen. And that’s exactly what 84 Lumber achieved in tandem with Pittsburgh Magazine, WTAE and Infinity Custom Homes. Together, these four organizations have developed a new construction home, located in the North Hills area of Pittsburgh, which will ultimately benefit Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.

The goal of the Ultimate House program, which began in 2014, is two-fold: to support a local charitable enterprise while simultaneously showcasing the latest trends in home design and construction in the Pittsburgh metro. In 2017 84 Lumber participated in this initiative as a premier sponsor and donated the building materials necessary to bring this project to fruition.

“Our partnership with Pittsburgh Magazine is a great way to give back to the community and build a home that tells a great story,” said 84 Lumber’s chief operating officer Frank Cicero.

Through Pittsburgh Magazine, local residents can visit the Ultimate House throughout the month of September. Tour proceeds will then be presented to Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.

84 Lumber first sponsored Pittsburgh Magazine's Ultimate House in 2016. To read more about the 2017 Ultimate House, please pick up a copy of Pittsburgh Magazine's November issue.
