84 Lumber Named to 2024 Inc. Regionals List

EIGHTY FOUR, Pa. (March 6, 2024) — 84 Lumber, the nation’s largest privately held building materials supplier, is proud to announce its spot on the 2024 Inc. Regionals list for the Northeast division, an extension of the Inc. 5000 list of America’s Fastest-Growing Companies in a particular region.

84 Lumber was ranked No. 164 out of 199 for 2024. This is the first time that 84 Lumber has made the Inc. Regionals list. The company has previously made the Inc. 5000 list four times: No. 3717 in 2023; No. 4348 in 2022; No. 4917 in 2021; and No. 4927 in 2019.

The Inc. Regionals list recognizes “the innovative achievements of companies in generating sustainable growth and jobs and is one of the most esteemed honors growing private businesses and business leaders can receive,” per Inc. Companies that made at least $1 million in 2022 can apply to be recognized on the list, specifically in their home region. This local award carries nationwide recognition and benefits.

“It is an honor to have made the Inc. Regionals list this year,” said Maggie Hardy, owner & CEO of 84 Lumber. “I would like to proudly recognize our stores located in the Northeast region as they have done a tremendous job contributing to the success of this company. Aside from exceptional growth, our associates continuously put in the hard work and dedication every day, and because of that, we have the honor of achieving awards such as this one.”

There are seven Inc. Regional lists: Mid-Atlantic, Midwest, Northeast, Pacific, Rocky Mountains, Southeast, and Southwest. To qualify, each company must be privately held for profit, based in the U.S., and independent, not a subsidiary or division of another company, among other qualifications.
