84 Lumber and Nemacolin Woodlands Sponsor the 2017 Pittsburgh Pride Celebration

President and owner Maggie Hardy Magerko to walk in the EQT Equality March

84 Lumber and Nemacolin Woodlands Sponsor the 2017 Pittsburgh Pride Celebration

EIGHTY FOUR, Pa. (June 9, 2017) – With her award-winning 2017 Super Bowl commercial, “The Journey,” 84 Lumber and Nemacolin Woodlands Resort owner and president Maggie Hardy Magerko took a stand – a stand for equality, no matter what you look like, where you’re from, or what you do. And her support didn’t end there. This year, 84 Lumber and Nemacolin are sponsors of the 2017 Pittsburgh Pride celebration.

Together, Hardy Magerko’s companies are championing the belief that your work ethic and attitude are way more important than what you look like or what school you attended. It’s all part of her belief that successful people are unconventional and don’t fit nicely into a traditional box.

“I’ve always been energized by people who make me think differently, who challenge the status quo, and who aren’t afraid to be different,” Hardy Magerko said.  “Right or wrong, I’ve always done things in my own way, and that’s something we need more of. I want to surround myself with people who embrace that mindset, and that’s why I’m incredibly honored to be sponsoring Pittsburgh Pride and participating in the Equality March.”

Hardy Magerko will walk in the EQT Equality March, alongside 84 Lumber’s and Nemacolin’s 20-foot float. Pittsburgh Pride will be held from Friday, June 2 through Sunday, June 11.
