The award, announced on March 27, 2024, is presented by both Newsweek and Statista Inc., a statistics portal and industry ranking provider.
Ranking No.12 in its category, Materials & Chemicals, 84 Lumber surpassed its competitors who were notably absent from the list. The company is also the only privately held supplier of building materials, manufactured components, and services mentioned.
Per Statista, around 3,400 companies were identified for the survey. The companies, both private and public, are all headquartered in the U.S. and must have a revenue of more than $500 million.
