84 Lumber Expands Presence in Texas with Opening of Second Store in San Antonio
EIGHTY FOUR, Pa. (October 4, 2017) – As the seventh-most populated city in the U.S., and second-most populous city in Texas, San Antonio is a key home-building hub. And for 84 Lumber, it is an ideal location for the company’s newest store.
84 Lumber’s second store in San Antonio is found just off of Interstate 10, making it easily accessible to all customers. The retail location will support both builders and DIYers with a steady supply of lumber and building materials. With a showroom of more than 4,000 square feet, an expanded door shop clocking in at more than 50,000 square feet and a growing engineered wood capacity, this rail-served yard will grow 84 Lumber’s local footprint.
Located at 327 Riverside Drive, San Antonio, Texas, 78210, 84 Lumber will offer supplies and services including lumber, panels, Hardie Siding, LP Siding, nails and fasteners, tools and hardware, as well as mouldings and pre-hung doors. The new store will join 12 other locations in Texas including Georgetown, four stores in and around Houston and another location in San Antonio.
“The addition of this store gives us the ability to expand our efforts with current and potential customers, while also increasing our presence in the market,” said 84 Lumber’s chief operating officer Frank Cicero. “This location was a natural fit for us due to our existing footprint in Texas including Houston, Dallas, Austin and western Texas.”
84 Lumber’s grand opening celebration in San Antonio is scheduled for October 12, 2017.
