Operation Gratitude

Operation Gratitude is a nationwide nonprofit dedicated to providing people across the country with opportunities for hands-on volunteerism to say ‘thank you’ to Military, Veterans, and First Responders. While this grassroots movement started in founder Carolyn Blashek’s living room, Operation Gratitude now encompasses Americans all over the country donating items and writing letters to those who serve.

Operation Gratitude proudly partners with volunteers and donors to provide care packages to say thank you to all who serve. To see what volunteer opportunities are possible for individuals, groups, or corporations, click here

Pets for Vets

Many brave troops return home with scars – both seen and unseen – that make it difficult to transition back to civilian life. By connecting Veterans with rescued animals, Pets for Vets helps create second chances and new beginnings.

Pets for Vets relies on a team of volunteers to help make a difference in the lives of Veterans and rescued animals. From chapter director to professional dog trainer to foster mom or dad, there are many ways to get involved.

Warrior Expeditions

After returning home from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, founder Sean Gobin hiked the Appalachian Trail in 2012 and then founded Warrior Expeditions. Recognizing the therapeutic value of long-distance expeditions, Warrior Expeditions is a veteran nonprofit therapy program that helps veterans transition from their wartime experiences.

From training and equipment to community support, Warrior Expeditions provides veterans with everything required to complete a long-distance outdoor expedition at no cost to the veteran. To see how you can get involved, click here

Operation HomeFront

For over twenty years, Operation Homefront has provided military families with programs such as financial assistance, transitional housing programs, permanent housing, caregiver support services, and family support programs and services.

Operation Homefront relies heavily on more than 4,000 volunteers. Their commitment and support is what allows Operation Homefront to make a real and positive difference in the lives of military families and veterans. See how you can get involved here
