Jorge Espinoza is proof that hard work and commitment pay off. Jorge started his 84 Lumber career as a Manager Trainee in the Corona, Calif., at the age of 20. Less than a year after coming onboard with 84, he was promoted to co-manager of the Santa Rosa, Calif., store. Since then he has been promoted to several management positions in the Company. He is currently manager of our Hesperia, CA location. Jorge said that he has learned “having a strong work ethic, along with a positive attitude, will make you successful with 84 Lumber.”

Jamie Jones is a true example that enthusiasm and dedication are two important qualities to possess to become an “84 Lumber Success Story”. The list of positions she has held with 84 Lumber is quite impressive and quite expansive. The list includes Administrative Assistant to a Regional Vice President, New Construction Buyer, Advertising Manager, and Director of Repairs & Enhancements to name just a few. Jamie said, “I consider everyone a mentor; you can learn something from everyone you meet or work with.”

Kevin Means is another great success story of 84 Lumber. Kevin has been a part of the 84 Lumber team for over 10 years. He held various positions at our corporate office before being a Field Recruiter for the Central Region. Kevin was recently promoted to Area Manager in Colorado. His great personality and work ethic are a couple of the many reasons that Kevin has enjoyed a successful career with 84 Lumber.

Jason Yamamoto has been with 84 Lumber for over 23 years. He was successful as a store manager in Maryland before deciding to come to our corporate office in our Purchasing Department. Jason is now manager of our location in Harmarville, PA.
