CONTRACTOR SALES REPRESENTATIVE
While most of our Contractor Sales Representative (CSR) positions are
filled by promotion, we are always interested in individuals who have
proven contractor sales experience. Our CSRs work with contractors to help
build their customers' dreams. CSRs read blueprints, create material
estimates, visit job sites, create special orders, and schedule
deliveries.
Our CSRs are also very involved with local home building associations. If
you can read blueprints, create building material estimates from drawings,
and have proven sales experience selling to contractors, you may have what
it takes to join our industry-leading team of CSRs.

84 COMPONENT DESIGN/MANUFACTURING
84 Components, one of our fastest growing divisions, has opportunities for
the following positions:
- Production Associates - Production Associates are responsible
for building our roof and wall trusses as well as our wall panel
assemblies. Associates are trained in production, quality control,
logistics and safety. Associates are encouraged to move up quickly to
positions of more responsibility such as crew leader, head sawyer,
Production Manager and more. Preferred qualifications are a high school
diploma and good math skills. No prior construction experience required;
we'll train!
- Designers - Designers are responsible for creating the
drawings and load specifications to build our component products.
Associates are encouraged to move up quickly to positions of more
responsibility such as Designer I, II and III and Design Manager.
Preferred qualifications are a two or four year degree with an emphasis
on CADD.
- Production Manager Trainees - Production Manager Trainees are
responsible for building our roof and wall trusses as well as our wall
panel assemblies. Associates are trained in production, quality control,
logistics and safety. Associates are encouraged to move up quickly to
positions of more responsibility such as Production Manager, Plant
Manager, and General Manager. Preferred qualifications are a degree in
Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.

TEAM
HEADQUARTERS OPPORTUNITIES
Support positions are available at our Team Headquarters facilities
located in Eighty Four, PA.
- Inventory Managers - Inventory Managers work with a number of
stores and component facilities to ensure they are in stock and under
budget. There is a ten-week training program with the position which
includes six to eight weeks working in one of our 84 Lumber stores.
Inventory Manager positions are comparable to our Manager Trainee
positions in compensation and benefits. Preferred qualifications are a
Bachelor's degree, excellent phone skills, good math skills and the
ability to do complex analysis. Inventory Managers are encouraged to
assume greater roles of responsibility in a number of support
departments such as Purchasing, Marketing, Human Resources, Finance,
Accounting and Merchandising, to name a few.
- Administrative Support - We have a number of opportunities
available in Administrative Support for our stores and component
manufacturing facilities. Preferred qualifications for these positions
are a minimum high school diploma, proficiency in MS Office applications
and strong math skills. Associates perform general office duties
including filing and answering phones. Associates are encouraged to
assume greater positions of responsibility in departments such as
Purchasing, Marketing, Human Resources, Finance, Accounting and
Merchandising, to name a few.
